Below we provide information about the processing of data of people who book and use our apartments.

2. Scope of data processing

We process personal data that a guest transmits as part of the booking, for a specific purpose and in accordance with the statutory provisions. For the purpose of booking and using the apartments, we store the following guest data:

 

· First name, last name

· Address

· Email address

· Telephone number

· Payment information (credit card, bank details, etc.).

 

This processing is carried out to fulfill the accommodation contract or to fulfill pre-contractual measures in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

The data is stored within the scope of the statutory retention period and otherwise deleted if storage is no longer necessary.

 

3. Video surveillance of the apartments

The private grounds of the building and public areas accessible to all guests are under video surveillance (CCTV system). This is done to ensure the safety of guests and staff and to ensure that the house rules are observed (enforcement of house rules). The surveillance recordings are kept for up to 30 days for security reasons.

 

The recording is therefore made to protect our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR.

 

4. Telephone recordings

We reserve the right to record telephone calls made by guests to our telephone customer service and to store them for a period of six months. The recordings are used to provide evidence of the content of telephone conversations in the event of complaints or other disputes. In these cases, the retention period may be extended until the matter is finally resolved.

The recording will only be made with your express consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

 

5. Disclosure of data

Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is not passed on to third parties unless the guest has given their express consent or there is a legal basis for permission. An exception applies in particular if data processing is necessary to fulfill the contract or if there is a legitimate interest.

 

6. Data protection claims

As a guest you have the right

● in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR to request information about your personal data processed by us;

● in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR to immediately request the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us;

● in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR to immediately request the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us; Art. 17 GDPR to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us as soon as the license agreement has been terminated.

● to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;

● in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller;

● in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request that it be transmitted to another controller; Art. 7 Para. 3 GDPR to revoke your consent at any time. This means that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future and

● to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or work or of our company headquarters.

 

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. Art. 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data, provided there are reasons for doing so that arise from your particular situation. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which we will implement without specifying a particular situation.
